The Walrus and the Co-worker.

walrusTwo weeks ago, I was remarking to a friend at work that Zoe now has six teeth in her mouth, 4 on the bottom and 2 on the top. I told him that, unfortunately, she has been afflicted with her daddy’s gap in between her two upper teeth, to which my co-worker (downgraded from friend) replied ??Like a walrus.? You son of a #$%$^! I told him, you just called my daughter a walrus, thanks a lot. Why couldn’t he of said something cool like a saber toothed tiger!

This week Zoe went to her 9 month checkup. She passed with flying colors. Kris was telling over the phone that she was in 95% for this and that. I had bad reception on my cell phone and had to asked her to repeat a percentile score, as the same co-worker (still downgraded from friend) was walking next to me. After I got off the phone, he said ??Yeah, 95% for height and 175% for tooth size.? I wanted to hit him. He followed up with ??Walruses are some of the smartest mammals in the ocean.?

My poor little walrus child, at least she??s smart as ocean life.

I believe this co-worker has been misrepresented. It seems apparent that the some what of an insult remark was directed at you and not that sweet child. You should be ashamed of yourself for attempting to redirect remarks towards you and your vast short comings onto Zeo. This is an obvious effort to feel less self humiliation…. No wonder this guy down graded himself to Co-worker good move on his part. Oh just for the record I did some research on the walrus…. Very smart mammals
