We recently visited with some friends of ours who have twins that are about the same age as Zoe. When we went to their house and got the tour, Momma noticed that the cribs that they used had the side rail removed, effectively making them day beds.

In no less then a week later, Zoe’s crib now has the same configuration on her bed. The side rail is off and the crib is now a bed. I told Momma that the first thing Zoe is going to do is crawl out of the bed and run into our room, where she wants to sleep. I was convinced that this would happen….but it didn’t. I woke up today and she was sleeping soundly in her new bed.

Kris told me that I was being pessimistic. Go figure that! She was right and I was wrong (again), no climbing out  -  yet.

Apparently, Momma worked her magic and got her down. I did hear some crying but that soon faded and Zoe fell asleep in her BED.

Why is all of this going so fast?

I blinked and now she sleeps in a bed. I don’t want to blink anymore.
